    Lt. Jesse Whitney, the son of Jonathan and Lydia (Jones) Whithney, He was born on 24 November 1730 in Mendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He was a lieutenant in the Revolutionary Army. After Mary's death, on 19 April 1779 Jesse, at age 48, married Ruth Legg, in Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He died on Wednesday 26 April 1815 in Milford, Worcester County, Massachusetts. His estate was probated on 23 May 1815 in Worcester County, Massachusetts.
