  Joseph Normand, the son of Jean Le Normand dit Le Jeune and Anne Le Laboureur. He was born on 10 January 1669 and was christened on 13 January 1669 both in Québec City, Québec, Canada. Tanguay (1889) gives his christening date as 18 January 1669 and Gagné (2002) gives the christening date as 12 January 1669. On 5 February 1691 Joseph, at age 22, married first, Marie-Madeleine Trefflé, at age 19, daughter of François Trefflé dit Rotot and Catherine Mathieu, in Québec City, Québec, Canada. On 4 November 1695, Joseph's parents disinherited him. They revoked the disinhertment on 15 and 31 May 1700. He was buried on 22 December 1749 in Québec City, Québec, Canada. Issue: 1.
