Hypolite Dugas dit Polite was born on 15 September 1773 at Canada.1 He was the son of Joseph Dugas and Agathe Landry.1
Hypolite Dugas dit Polite married Geneviève Pinet circa 1797 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada.
August 29 1811, he lent to Lange Poirier of Bonaventure a sum of 90 Louis (about 360$). The latter obliged itself to him to return this money on a period of three years, of which a part in merchandise.1
