     Simeon Butler was born on 19 February 1778 at Heath, Massachusetts.2 He was the son of Joseph Butler and Elizabeth Brooks.2 Simeon lived in 1799 at Heath, Massachusetts.1

Simeon Butler, age 22, married Patty Carter, age 21 , daughter of Elias Carter and Deborah White, on 6 May 1800 at Buckland, Massachusetts.1,3 In 1802, he was taxed 74¢ in Hadley, New York.4 Simeon, appeared on the US Census of 1810 at Hadley, Saratoga County, New York. The enumeration reads:

Simeon and Pattymoved circa 1841 the Western Part of New York.7 Simeon Butler was buried at Humphreys Hollows Cemetery, Sheldon, Wyoming County, New York.10 He died on 14 August 1858 at age 80.10
