Simeon Butler

     Simeon Butler was born on 19 February 1778 at Heath, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Joseph Butler and Elizabeth Brooks.² Simeon lived in 1799 at Heath, Massachusetts.¹

Simeon Butler, age 22, married Patty Carter, age 21 , daughter of Elias Carter and Deborah White, on 6 May 1800 at Buckland, Massachusetts.^1,3 In 1802, he was taxed 74¢ in Hadley, New York.⁴ Simeon, appeared on the US Census of 1810 at Hadley, Saratoga County, New York. The enumeration reads:
