     John Godin was born on 28 March 1886 at Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.2 He was the son of Romain Godin and Marie-Archane-Hortense Godin.1 John, age 14, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1901 at Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada, in the household of his parents, Romain Godin and Marie-Archane-Hortense Godin.2 John, age 35, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1921 at Paquetville, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada, in the household of his parents, Romain Godin and Marie-Archane-Hortense Godin.3 According to the Canadian Census in 1921, John was a day laborer.3

John Godin, age 35, married Joséphine Boudreau, age 39 , daughter of Jean-Louis-Israël Boudreau and Victoire Légère, on 30 October 1921 at the Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.4,5 John Godin, age 44 years, and Joséphine Boudreau, age 49 years appeared on the Canadian Census of 1931 at Caraquet, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.6 According to the Canadian Census in 1931, John was a farmer.6 He died on 2 April 1968 at age 82.1
