     Marie Rose Bibianne Légère was born on 4 September 1900 at Paquetville, New Brunswick, Canada.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Augustin Légère and Geneviève Godin. Marie Rose Bibianne Légère, age 27 years, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1901 in the household of Augustin Légère and Geneviève Godin at Paquetville, New Brunswick, Canada. Marie Rose Bibianne Légère, age 69 years, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1911 in the household of Rose Haché at Paquetville, New Brunswick, Canada.5 Marie Rose Bibianne Légère and Camille Boudreau immigrated on 2 October 1920 On 2 October 1923 Camille and Bibianne entered the United States at St. Albans, Vermont from Canada and then moved to Melrose, New York and thence to Bridgeport, Connecticut.6

Marie Rose Bibianne Légère, age 23, married Camille Boudreau, age 25 , son of Pierre Joseph Boudreau and Priscille Haché, on 4 September 1923. The marriage was performed by Father Robichaud.6,7,1,8 Marie, age 29 years, and Camille, age 31 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at Bridgeport, Connecticut.9 Marie and Camillemoved to Athol, Massachusetts, between 1930 and 1934.1 Marie Rose Bibianne Légère died on 8 May 2003 at Birchwood Care Cente, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, at age 102.2,4,10,11,12 Marie's obituary of 9 May 2003, reads:

ATHOL -- Bibianne M. (Legere) Boudreau, 102, formerly of 119 Warrick Ave., died Thursday, May 8, in Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg.

Her husband, Camille Boudreau, died in 1975. She leaves three sons, Leonel and Francis Boudreau, both of Athol, and Ernest Boudreau of Brattleboro, Vt; a daughter, Angelina B. Chiasson of Athol; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She was born in Pequetville, New Brunswick, daughter of Augustin and Genevieve (Godin) Boudreau, and lived more than 65 years in Athol.

Mrs. Boudreau was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, the Franco-American Club, Ladies of St. Anne Society and the Catholic Women's League.

The funeral will be held Saturday, May 10, from Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main St., with a Mass at 9 a.m. in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Immaculate Church Building Fund, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331.12


She was buried on 10 May 2003 at Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, Massachusetts.11,12
