     Ebenezer Hill was born on 9 November 1686 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony.1,2,3 He was the son of Ebenezer Hill and Ruth Bailey.

Ebenezer Hill, age 27, married Susanna Leonard, age 30 , daughter of Jacob Leonard and Susanna King, on 22 March 1714 at Bridgewater, Massachusetts.1,3,4,5,6,7 He was called a blacksmith in deeds.1 He was a grantee of land, in 1734, in Greenwich, Massachusetts in right of his father Ebenezer Hill, and of his uncle Joseph Bailey, both of whom fought in the Great Swamp battle in King Philip's War, Dec. 19, 1675. He evidently abandoned his Narragansett rights, as the lots drawn in his name in Greenwich were sold for taxes, Sept. 5, 1750.1 Ebenezer Hill died on 6 July 1760 at Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at age 73.1,3,4
