Thomas Hyde was born in July 1672 at Norwich, Connecticut.1 He was christened in July 1672 at Norwich, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Samuel Hyde and Jane Lee.
Thomas Hyde, age 25, married Mary Backus, age 25 , daughter of Stephen Backus and Sarah Spencer, in December 1697 at Norwich, Connecticut.1 Thomas Hyde died on 9 April 1755 at Franklin, Connecticut, at age 82.1 He was buried at Plains Cemetery, Franklin, New London County, Connecticut.1
