Anthony Walter Dziedzic was born on 1 February 1911 at Poland. He did not know where in Poland he was born.2,3,4,5 He was the son of Joseph Dziedzic and Thelma Barr.1 Anthony Walter Dziedzic went by the nick-name of Tony. He sailed from Antwerp, Belgium, arriving in the Port of New York on 3 March 1913 on board the SS Lapland. The SS Lapland, had been chartered the year before by the White Star Line to repatriate 172 surviving members of Titanic's crew to the UK after they had been detained in the USA for investigations.5
Tony, age 19, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 2521 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph and Thelma Dziedzic.6 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Tony was a rivet heater in bridge construction.6 He filed his Declaration of Intent to become a US Citizen on 19 May 1939.5
He and Agnes Marie Scully obtained a marriage license on 23 May 1939 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2
Tony, age 28 years, and Agnes Scully, age 23 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 2435 Rear, West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.7

Tony was a laborer in 1940.7 Tony registered for the draft giving his age as 29 and his employer as the Hunter Steel Company. on 16 October 1940 at 2435 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.4
Tony died on 17 October 1948 at home on 2022 Sacramento Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 37 from cancer of the mouth.3,9,10 Tony's obituary of 18 October 1948, reads:
