Mary Ann O'Neil

     Mary Ann O'Neil was born in March 1884 at Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew O'Neil and Mary Ann Reardon. Mary Ann O'Neil was christened on 13 April 1884 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales. She immigrated on 20 January 1886 to the United States She arrived with her mother at Ellis Island on board the SS Helvetia from Liverpool. They then went to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to joining her father who was already there.¹ Sheappeared on the US Census of 1900 in the household of Andrew O'Neil and Mary Ann Reardon at 81 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.¹ According to the Federal Census in 1900, Mary was a cake packer.¹ Sheappeared on the US Census of 1910 in the household of Andrew O'Neil and Mary Ann Reardon at West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.² According to the Federal Census in 1910, Mary was a servant for a private family.² She died in 1928.
