Ellen Theresa Scully

     Ellen Theresa Scully was born on 1 August 1868 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Daniel Scully and Ellen McCormick. Ellen Theresa Scully went by the nick-names of Laul and Nell. Ellen, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Temperanceville (now West End Villiage), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Daniel and Ellen Scully.⁶ Ellen Theresa Scully was a birdgemade at the marriage of Paul Scully and Nancy Veronica Scobie on 1 September 1891 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia; They were married by the Rev. E. M. Hickey. Ellen Scully was one of her bridesmaids.^7,8,2,9,10,1 Ellen Theresa Scully and John Vincent O'Donnell obtained a marriage license on 3 May 1892 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.¹¹ As of 25 December 1892,her married name was O'Donnell.
