  Francis Kendall. He was born about 1613 in England. Francis was a tanner, who arrived in Charlestown before 1642 and settled in Woburn. In the town records, the name, 'Miles,' is recorded as an alias. There is a family tradition that he changed his name to hide his emigration from his parents. He gave testimony in court in 1700 at the age of 88 years. Francis was a selectman for eighteen years. His will was dated 9 May 1706, He died in 1708 in Woburn, Massachusetts. Issue: 1.
