Deacon Jonas Stone, the son of Captain Samuel and Abigail (Read) Stone. He was born on 3 December 1710 in Rutland, Massachusetts. After Elizabeth's death, on 12 May 1752 Jonas, at age 41, married (2) Sarah Stone, daughter of Joseph Stone. He was on the Committee of Correspondence and a delegate to the First Provincial Congress in 1774. He moved in 1776 to Lexington, Massachusetts. He died 20 October 1790 or on 29 October 1790 in Lexington, Massachusetts.
