     Prudence Wilder was born on 24 July 1751 at Lancaster, Massachusetts.2 She was the daughter of Abner Wilder and Eunice Osgood.1

Prudence married first, Gamaliel White Beaman. He was born 4 December 1748. Gamaliel and Prudence filed their marriage intentions 24 July 1751 in Lancaster, Massachusetts. He served at Lexington in Capt. Daniel Robbins's co., Col. Asa Whitcomb's regt.—service 13 days
He died in 1777 in Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania while in the Revolutionary Army.

Prudence Wilder, age 38, married Captain Nathaniel Carter, age 54 , son of Nathaniel Carter and Thankful Sawyer, on 20 May 1790 at Winchendon, Massachusetts. Prudence Wilder died in 1797.2 Prudence was known to be living in 1815.1
