Lillian Bliss

     Lillian Bliss was born on 28 July 1876 at Sabinsville, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.^2,3 She was the daughter of Alfred Riley Bliss and Sophia Delphine Knowles.² Lillian, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Sabinsville, Tioga County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Alfred Riley and Sophia Delphine Bliss.⁴ As of 3 July 1897,her married name was Travis.¹

Lillian Bliss, age 20, married Albert Travis, age 42 , son of William Travis and Eliza Maria Schoonmaker, on 3 July 1897 at Corning, Steuben County, New York.



Lillian, age 23 years, and Albert Travis, age 44 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Hector Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania.⁵ Lillian, age 33 years, and Albert Travis, age 54 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Canisteo, Steuben County, New York.⁷ Lillian, age 43 years, and Albert, age 64 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on South Street, Addison, Steuben County, New York.⁸ Lillian, age 48 years, and Albert, age 69 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1925 at Addison, Steuben County, New York.⁹ Lillian died on 1 November 1928 at home on Westfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, at age 52.^2,3 Lillian was buried on 3 November 1928 at Sabinsville Cemetery, Sabinsville, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.^2,3
