Frederick I of Goseck , Lord of Goseck was the son of Berkhard von Wettin. Frederick I of Goseck's full titles were Lord of Goseck; the Count in the Northern Hessegau; the Count of Merseburg; and the Pfalzgrave of Saxony.1 Frederick was known to be living in 992.1
Frederick I of Goseck , Lord of Goseck married Agnes von Weimar, daughter of William II von Weimer ~ Duke of Thuringia and daughter of Otto I of Grabfeld.1 Frederick became, in 1038, the Countship of Mersebuirg and the Pfalzgraveship of Saxony from his childless nephew, Siegfrid.1 He died before 1042.1
