     Arpád , Prince of the Magyars was the son of Almos. Arpád became, in 886, the Prince of the Magyars.1 He led the emigration from Dnieper steppes to conquer Hungary and Transylvania in 889. He molded Hungary into a unified state and laid the foundations for its future.1,2 He died in 907 at Hungary.1,2 He was buried following Magyar custom. His body was burnt, and his ashes buried near a brook. His descendants built a church, the White Church of the Virgin, on that spot.2
