Hunfrid ~ Count of Istria was the son of Isembaud ~ Count in the Thurgovie.1 Hunfrid's full titles were the Count of Istria; and the Count of Rhaetias and Missus Diminicus in Corsica.2
Hunfrid ~ Count of Istria married Hitta.1 Hunfrid became, in 799, the Duke of Fruiti. He reigned until 804.1 Hunfrid was known to be living between 804 and 823.2 He founded the monastery of Scharais.2 He died circa 830.2
