     Rutpert I , Count of the Upper Rhine and Wormsgau was born in 689.1 He was the son of Lambert II and Chrotlind. Rutpert became, between 722 and 757, the Count in the Upper Rhine and Worms.2,3,4

Rutpert I , Count of the Upper Rhine and Wormsgau married Williswint of the Wormsgau, daughter of Count Adelhelm, in 730.1,2,3,4 Rutpert was created, in 732, the Duke in the Haspengau.4 He was the Royal Missus in Italy.1 He died before 764.1,2,3,4
