Gonzalo Fernandez de Lara ~ Count of Burgos and Castile was the son of Fernando Nunez of Castrosiero and Gutina of Castile. Between 889 and 914, he was a vassal of the Asturian kings.1
Gonzalo Fernandez de Lara ~ Count of Burgos and Castile married Munia of Castile, daughter of Nuno Nunez ~ Count of Castile and daughter of Rodrigo, before 912. They were cousins.1 Gonzalo Fernandez de Lara ~ Count of Burgos and Castile died in 932.1 He was buried at Cerezo de Río Tirón, Castile and León, Spain.1
