     Æthelfrith ~ Earldoman of Wessex and Mercia was the son of Æthelhelm ~ Earldorman of Wiltshire and Æthelgyth of Mercia. He was the first holder of King Alfred's gift of Risborough, Farnborough, and Wrington.1,2
