Godfrey ~ Count Palatine of Lorraine married Ermentrude, daughter of Charles III the Simple ~ King of the West Franks and Frederuna, before 923.1 Godfrey became, circa 924, the Count of the Jülichgau. He reigned until 936, and possibly until 949.1 He died after 949.1
