     Paul Edward Myers was born on 31 December 1901 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 He was the son of Joseph Lucas Myers and Anna Isabelle Geiger. Paul, age 8, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.4 Paul, age 18, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 333 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.5

Paul Edward Myers, age 25, married Mary Ellen Rapp, daughter of Albert William Rapp and Mary Elizabeth Cohlhepp, on 29 June 1927 at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Youngstown.

Myers-Rapp Wedding


The marriage of Miss Mary Rapp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rapp of Youngstown, Ohio, and. Paul E. Myers, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Myers, took place in St. Patrick's church, Youngstown, this morning at 8 o'clock before a nuptial High Mass. Elizabeth Myers, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid while Francis Zeurcher, of Reynoldsrille acted 88 best man.

The bride wore a gown of pale blue georgette with hat to match and carried a bouquet of tea roses. Miss Myers appeared in a gown of rose georgette and carried pink roses.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Charles Feltz. The couple's wedding trip will include a visit to Latrobe. They will make their home in Youngstown where the groom 18 employed.

Paul Myers, 28 years, appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1930 at 465 Cemetery Road, Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio.7 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Paul was a laborer in a steel mill.7 Paul Myers, 38 years, appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1940 at 479 North Heights Street, Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.8 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Paul was a brakeman on the railroad.8 On on 14 February 1942, Paul registered for the World War II draft, while living at 479 North Heights Street, Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio. He give his age as 40 and his employer as the Sharon Steel Corporation.2 Paul Myers, 48 years, appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1950 at 115 Stewart Road, Poland, Mahoning County, Ohio.9 Paul was a brakeman on a steam railroad in 1950.9 When his father died, in December 1979, Paul lived at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.10 When his brother, William died, in 1985, Paul lived at Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio.11 In 1986, the year Paul died, he lived at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.3 He died on 25 December 1986 at St Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 84.12,3
