     William Henry Myers was born on 29 June 1904 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 He was the son of Joseph Lucas Myers and Anna Isabelle Geiger. William, age 5, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.4 William, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 333 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.5

William Henry Myers married Thelma Elizabeth Soltesz, daughter of Jacob Soltész and Susanna Mary Török.6,1 William, age 25, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.6 According to the Federal Census in 1930, William was a laborer in a transfer company.6 William Myers, 35 years, appeared as Head of Household with Thelma, his wife, on the United States Census of 1940 on 10B Lloyd Avenue, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.7 According to the Federal Census in 1940, William was a millwright.7 On on 16 February 1942, William registered for the World War II draft, while living at 401 Lloyd Avenue, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He gave his age as 37 and his employer as American Locomotive.3 William Myers, 45 years, appeared as Head of Household with Thelma, his wife, on the United States Census of 1950 at 23 Lloyd Avenue, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.8 According to the Federal Census in 1950, William was a millwright in a steel mill.8 He was retired in 1969from Standard Steel.1 When his father died, in December 1979, William lived at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.9 In 1985, the year William died, he lived at 235 Gertrude Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.2 William's obituary of 30 March 1985, reads:

William Henry Myers

William Henry Myers, 80, of 23 Gertrude St., Latrobe, died Saturday, March 30, 1985, in Edgewood Nursing Home.

Born in Latrobe June 28, 1904, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ann Geiger Myers.

A member of Holy Family Church, he retired in 1949 from Standard Steel. He also was a member of FO Eagles 01188.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Soltesz Myers; three brothers, Paul Myers of Lowellville, Ohio, James Myers of Latrobe and Raymond Myers of North Wales, and one sister, Mrs. Chester (Madeline) Ludwig of Lloydsville.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe.

Mass of Christian Burial win be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Church.

Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. Unity Township.
