Ashot IV the Valiant , Prince of Armenia was the son of Smbat VII and Samuel II Mamikonian. Ashot IV the Valiant , Prince of Armenia was also known as the Carnivore.1 From 780 to 826, he was the marzpan of Armenia.1,2 Ashot was crowned Prince of Armenia in 806.1 He died in 820.1
