Andrew Carnegie Baldridge

     Andrew Carnegie Baldridge was born on 13 March 1885 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.^2,1,3,4 He was the son of John Baldridge and Lida Corey.¹ Andrew Carnegie Baldridge was christened on 14 July 1888 at First Presbyterian Church, North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.³ Andrew, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 20 High Street, North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, John and Lida Baldridge.⁵ Andrew Carnegie Baldridge and Madelyn A Quinn obtained a marriage license on 3 October 1906 at Mahoning County, Ohio.⁶

Andrew Carnegie Baldridge, age 21, married Madelyn A Quinn, age 18 , daughter of Michael J. Quinn and CatherineA. Boyle, on 3 October 1906 at Mahoning County, Ohio.⁶ Andrew died on 18 November 1906 at home on 113 Kerkpatric Street, North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 21 from suicide while temporarily insane. He put a shotgun to his head, after he had attempted to force ammonia down Madelyn's throat.^2,1,7 Andrew was buried on 19 November 1906 at Monongahela Cemetery, North Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.²
