     Cynric ~ King of the West Saxons was born circa 525 at Kingdom of Wessex.1 He was the son of Creoda ~ Prince of Wessex. Cynric was crowned the King of the West Saxon in 534.1,2,3 According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle: "A.D. 552. This year Cynric fought with the Britons on the spot that is called Sarum, and put them to flight.2,3" According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle: "A.D. 556. This year Cynric and Ceawlin fought....at Beranbury.2" He died in 560.1,2,3
