     Pharaoh Psamtek II was the son of Pharaoh Necho II and Chedebnitjerbone I. Pharaoh Psamtek II was also known as Nefer.ib.re' Psamtek.1 Psamtek's name was also spelt Psammetichus in Greek.1 Psamtek was crowned the Pharaoh of Egypt 595 BCE.1

Pharaoh Psamtek II married Tak.huat Princess of Athribis.1 Pharaoh Psamtek II died in 585 BCE.1
