     Sarah Lovejoy was born on 3 April 1754 at Lunenburg, Massachusetts.3,4,5,2 She was the daughter of Deacon John Lovejoy and Sarah Pierce.2

Sarah Lovejoy, age 18, married George Bixby Lake, age 22 , son of Daniel Lake and Sarah Bixby, on 13 November 1772 at Rindge, New Hampshire.1,6,7,8,2,4 Sarah and Georgemoved to Woodstock, Vermont, in 1780.2,9
