Hennrette-Geneviève Haché dite Anne was born on 9 May 1741 at Port-LaJoie, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.2 She was the daughter of Charles Haché dit Gallant and Geneviève Lavergne.2
Hennrette-Geneviève Haché dite Anne, age 19, married Jean-Pierre Melanson, son of Pierre Melanson and Rosalie Blanchard, on 7 January 1761 at Restigouche, New Brunswick, New France.2 Hennrette-Geneviève and Jean-Pierre lived on 21 June 1772 at Bathurst, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick), British North America, where they had a child christened.2
