Pierre Richard was born on 30 August 1746 at Grand-Pré, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.2 He was the son of Jean-Baptiste Richard and Marguerite-Geneviève Landry.2
Pierre Richard, age 21, married Marguerite-Pélagie Robichaud, daughter of Joseph Robichaud and Claire LeBlanc, on 10 November 1767 at Saint-Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France.1,2 Pierre Richard died on 31 December 1773 at at sea at age 27.2
