Sarah Jane Eddy was born on 29 August 1833 at Petersham, Massachusetts.1,2 She was the daughter of Rufus Harrington Eddy and Levina Rebecca Johnson.1 Sarah Jane Eddyappeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Rufus Harrington Eddy and Levina Rebecca Johnson.3
Sarah Jane Eddy, age 19, married John Younnie, age 30 , son of Louis Younnie and Jane ______, on 3 March 1853 at Shutesbury, Massachusetts.
Sarah Jane Eddy died on 14 August 1908 at Amherst, Massachusetts, at age 74 from cancer of the stomach.1,2 She was buried at West Cemetery, Shutesbury, Massachusetts. Sarah's epitaph reads:
