     Phebe Fellows was born on 5 May 1814 at Shelburne, Massachusetts.2,3 She was the daughter of Deacon Solomon Fellows Jr. and Loe Rice. Phebe is listed as a student at Franklin Academy in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts for the year ending Nov. 1, 1834.4

Phebe Fellows, age 25, married Orville Sherwin, age 23 , son of William Sherwin and Marcia Carter, on 3 June 1839 at Leverett, Massachusetts.1,5,6,7,8,2,3 Phebe Fellows died on 4 May 1842 at Milford, New Hampshire, at age 27.1,9,6,7,8,2 She was buried at Arms Cemetery, Shelburne, Massachusetts, in section R2. Phebe's epitaph reads:

Death: The published Vital Records of Shelburne list her death, but that is derived from her gravestone. The Buckland published vital records state she died in Milford, New Hampshire.5,9
