     Berta of Burgundy was the daughter of William II the Great ~ Comte de Bourgogne et Mâcon and Stephanie de Longwy.1 A contract for the marriage of Berta of Burgundy and Alfonso VI the Brave of León and Castile ~ King of Castile, León, and Navarre was signed on 25 November 1093.2

Berta of Burgundy married Alfonso VI the Brave of León and Castile ~ King of Castile, León, and Navarre, son of Ferdinand I the Great ~ King of Castile and León and Sancha of León, after 25 November 1093. They had no children together.3,4,2 Berta was known to be living on 28 April 1095 when she was recorded in court.2 She confirmed a royal diploma on 17 November 1099.3,2 She died before 15 January 1100.3,2

Paarents: Evans (1963) states her parents are unknown, however he corrects this in Evans (1976) giving William II as her father.3,1
