     Geneviève Dufresne was born on 8 November 1801 at Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America.1,2 She was christened on 9 November 1801 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly Paroisse, Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America.2,3 She was the daughter of François Dufresne and Geneviève Demers.2,3

Geneviève married first on 26 October 1824 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly Paroisse, Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America, Pierre Menard, the son of Pierre Menard and Marie-Charlotte Chartier. He was born 11 January 1803 in Chambly, Québec, Canada, and was christend 12 January 1803 at Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly church. He died 1 April 1825 in Chambley, Québec, Canada and was buried the next day.2

Geneviève Dufresne, age 26, married Antoine Jetté, age 35 , son of Étienne Jetté and Marie Bonvouloir dite Desillieres, on 23 September 1828 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly Paroisse, Longueuil, Lower Canada, British North America.1,2,4 Geneviève, age 49 years, and Antoine, age 57 years , appeared on the Canadian Census of 1851 at Chambly, Québec, Canada.5 Geneviève, age 59 years, and Antoine, age 67 years , appeared on the Canadian Census of 1861 at Chambly, Québec, Canada.6 Geneviève, age 69 years, and Antoine, age 77 years , appeared on the Canadian Census of 1871 at Chambly, Québec, Canada.7 Geneviève Dufresne died on 15 December 1881 at Chambly, Québec, Canada, at age 80.8
