     Hiram Hatch was born on 9 January 1769 at North Yarmouth, Maine.1 He was the son of Abijah Hatch and Hannah Sawyer.1

Hiram Hatch, age 29, married Lydia Brown on 11 November 1798 at North Yarmouth, Maine.1 1821, Hiram was one of the petitioners to the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons to establish a Masonic Lodge in North Yarmouth. The charter was dated 24 October 1821.2
