Lt. Newman Perkins, age 21, was baptized as an adult on 4 December 1755 at Wells, Maine. In 1776, he was a First Lieutenant in Capt. James Littlefield's 8th Company (Wells), 1st York County Regiment.1 He died between 1810 and 1820 at Wells, Maine.1
