     John Morse was born on 3 August 1746 at Falmouth (now Portland), Maine.1,2,3 He was the son of Deacon Anthony Moss and Hannah Merrill.1 Johnmoved to New Boston (now Gray), Maine.3

John Morse married Sarah Sanders, daughter of Davis Sanders and Abigail Snow, in 1769 at New Boston (now Gray), Massachusetts.
