Abigail Mayo was born on 4 July 1766 at Roxbury, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Major Joseph Mayo and Esther Kenrick. Abigail Mayo and Benjamin Hazeltine MD filed marriage intentions on 30 March 1786 at Warwick, Massachusetts.1

Abigail Mayo died on 5 December 1859 at Winchendon, Massachusetts, at age 93.2 She was buried at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Massachusetts. Abigail's epitaph reads:
