Margaret Fox was born on 4 February 1839 at Sinking Valley, Blair County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Fox and Rachel Mathias.
Margaret Fox married Martin Luther Fleck, son of David Fleck and Mary Ramey, in 1863.
Margaret Fox died on 8 January 1914 at Tyrone Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania, at age 74. Margaret's obituary of 15 January 1914, reads:
Mrs. Margaret Fleck, wife of the late Martin Luther Fleck, died this morning (sic) at the home of her daughter Mrs. Rebecca Black, near Skelp, Sinking Valley, of pneumonia. Mrs. Fleck had been in failing health for some time past and last week she caught a heavy cold which terminated in pneumonia. She gradually grew weaker until the summons came this morning at 8:40 o'clock when she fell peacefully asleep.
Mrs. Margaret Fox Fleck was born in Sinking Valley about 75 years ago; her husband preceded her to the grave in 1902. Early in life she united with the Lutheran church of Tyrone and died rejoicing in that faith. Surviving to mourn the death is one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Black, one brother, Reuben Fox, and one sister, Miss Mary Fox, all of Sinking Valley.
