     Stephen Pangborn was born in January 1672 at Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey.3,2 He was the son of Peter Pangborn and Grace Fifoe.2 Stephen Pangborn was also known as Richard Pangborn.

Stephen Pangborn married Joanna Tuttle, daughter of Joseph Tuttle and Hannah Munson.4,5,6,7,8,9 Stephen and Joannamoved to Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey.8,9 Richard was admitted to the church at Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, on 3 October 1710.7,6,9 He died in 1746 at New Haven, Connecticut.3

Name: It appears that Stephen Pangborn, husband of Joanna Tuttle, also went by the name of "Richard". Many sources give "Richard" as his middle name, but middle names were exceedingly rare in the 17th century.
