Elder Thomas Chase was born on 20 August 1679 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was born in that part of Yarmouth which became Dennis.1,2 He was the son of John Chase and Elizabeth Baker.2
Elder Thomas Chase, age 24, married Sarah Gowell, daughter of Richard Gowell and Hannah Remick, on 15 September 1703 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1,3,4,5 Elder Thomas Chase was the administrator of Gowell Chase's estate on 23 April 1730. Elder Thomas Chase died on 20 November 1767 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 88.1,2 He was buried at Ancient Cemetery, South Dennis, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, near the middle of the grave yard.2
