Compeller's Note:
Sources about the birth and parentage of Rebecca Squire are nil to none. Several questionable source give her birth as about 1705 in Sherborn, Massachusetts. This is based on her marriage record from 1725 stating she was of Sherborn. Well she was when married, and the date given is simply 20 years before her marriage. Savage almost as unrelilable does list several male Squires in five different towns. A review of the town histories in that list quickly narrowed it down to Cambridge. A Rebeccca Squire was born in Cambridge 11 March 1700/01. This would make her 24 or 25 at the time of marriage. I could find no other Rebecca Squire. As her father died in 1708 or earlier, his widow, may have remarried, and moved to Sherborn.
This is conjecture on my part, but will make the assumption that I have found the missing Rebecca.
