     John Platt was born in June 1664 at Norwalk, Connecticut.3,2,4,5,6,7 He was the son of John Platt and Hannah Clark.2

John Platt, age 31, married Sarah Lockwood, age 25 , daughter of Ephraim Lockwood and Mercy St. John, in May 1696 at Norwalk, Connecticut.4,3,5,8,6,2,7

John Platt, age 58, probably married Mrs Mary Smith on 20 November 1722 at New Haven, Connecticut.6 John Platt died in 1736 at Fairfield, Connecticut.2,5,6

Compeller's Notes:
I question his marriage to Mrs. Mary Smith. Only one source lists her and then flags the marriage as "probable".
