     Jannetje Jansz Kunst was christened on 24 February 1664 at Kingston, Ulster County, New York.1,3,4 She was the daughter of Jan Barentsen Kunst and Jacomyntje Slecht.2 Marriage banns for Jannetje and Cornelis Gerretse van Nieeuwkirk were published on 5 October 1683 at Kingston, Ulster County, New York.2

Jannetje Jansz Kunst married Cornelis Gerretse van Nieeuwkirk, son of Gerret Cornelisse van Nieeuwkirk and Chieltje Cornelissen Slecht.1,5 Jannetje Jansz Kunst died on 2 August 1729 at Hurley, Ulster County, New York, at age 65.3,4 She was buried at Old Hurley Burial Ground, Hurley, Ulster County, New York.4

There is a marriage of Janetje Kunst to Nicholas Roosevelt in New York City a year before her marriage to Cornelis Newkirk. This is Hillitje Kunst, the daughter of Jan Barentsen Kunst, by his first wife, Jannetje Ariens.
