     Captain Joseph Sexton was born on 3 February 1664 at Windsor, Connecticut.1,2 He was the son of George Sexton and Katherine Cowing.1

Captain Joseph Sexton, age 26, married Hannah Wright, age 21 , daughter of Able Wright and Martha Kitcherell, on 20 November 1690 at Westfield, Massachusetts.1,3,4,5,6,7,8 Joseph was a school teacher at Enfield, Connecticut.1 He was the Captain of the Militia in Enfield, Connectictu.1 He died on 3 May 1742 at Enfield, Connecticut, at age 78.9,2,10,11 He was buried at Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield, Connecticut.2,10,11
