     Maxime-Thaddée Landry was born on 27 August 1783 at Caraquet, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick), British North America.1 He was the son of Thadée Landry and Marie-Madeleine Légère.

Maxime-Thaddée Landry, age 24, married Pélagie Gauvin, age 18 , daughter of Charles Gauvin and Madeleine Paulin, on 7 January 1808 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada.1 Maxime-Thaddée was a cooper.1 He, age 50 years, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1861 in the household of Jean Landry and Françoise-Delphine Dugas at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada.2 Maxime-Thaddée, age 87 years, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1871 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada.3 He died on 27 July 1871 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 87.1
