Élisabeth Melanson was born circa 1673 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1 She was the daughter of Charles Melanson dit LaRamée and Marie Dugas.1 In the 1686 Census, Élisabeth was recorded, age 13, living in Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1
Élisabeth Melanson married Michel Bourg, son of François Bourg and Marguerite Boudrot, in 1689 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1
Élisabeth and Michelmoved to Beaubassin, Acadia, New France, in 1698.1 In the 1700 Census, Élisabeth was recorded living in Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1 She died after 11 April 1724 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, She died after the baptism of her granddaughter Elisabeth Theriot in 1724, when she was named godmother.1
