     Joseph Haché dit Gallant was born circa 1693 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1,2,3 He was the son of Michel Haché dit Gallant and Anne Cormier.1

Joseph Haché dit Gallant married Marie Gaudet, daughter of Pierre Gaudet and Cécile Mignot dite Aubin, on 27 February 1721 at Port-Royal, Acadia.
