     Marguerite Broussard was born on 11 October 1709 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.2,3 She was christened on 12 October 1709 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.2,3 She was the daughter of Pierre Broussard and Marguerite Bourg.1

Marguerite Broussard married Michel Boudrot dit Miquetau, son of Abraham Boudrot c 1657 and Cécile Melanson, in 1727 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Acadia, New France. They had no children together.2,3

Marguerite married second in 1733 Nicolas Préjean, the son of Jean Préjean dit Le Breton and Andrée Savoie. He was born 7 July 1704 and was christened on 27 July 1704 both in Port-Royal, Acadia. After Marguerite's death, nicolas married twice more. In 1759 Nicolas arrived at Saint-Malo, Brittany, France, having been deported from Arcadia. His age on the passenger list was 52. Nicolas died 31 March 1765 in Landivisiau, Finistère, Brittany, France.2,1 She died circa 1751 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Acadia, New France.2,3
